Terms & Service Roles
A travel page, a planning conversation and a regulated travel contract are not the same thing. These terms explain the role boundary before a final legal entity, licensed provider, scope and price are placed in a proposal.
Website information
Articles and sample journeys are general planning information. They do not create a booking, guarantee entry, reserve inventory or promise a specific supplier, animal behaviour, weather, opening time or medical outcome.
Kakagogo planning and coordination
Kakagogo may provide cultural planning, practical guidance, translation support and local coordination within the scope stated in writing. The proposal identifies the contracting entity, contact, price, deliverables and cancellation terms.
Regulated travel services
Where law requires a licensed travel agency for a package, guide, transport, ticketing or other regulated travel component, the licensed seller and licence information must be identified before contract or payment. Supplier roles and who holds customer funds must not be hidden behind the Kakagogo brand.
Medical boundary
Chinese medicine cultural introductions are educational. Diagnosis, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, prescribed herbs and any other medical procedure are provided only by a licensed medical institution under its own assessment, consent, contract and payment arrangement.
Changing information and traveller responsibility
Travellers remain responsible for valid documents, lawful stay, truthful disclosures, following safety instructions and checking time-sensitive rules. Kakagogo uses official sources but cannot control government policy, transport, attractions, weather or third-party systems.
Final contract prevails
Before any paid booking, the signed or accepted proposal and provider terms should state the actual entity, scope, price, taxes, payment route, refund conditions, insurance responsibility, complaints process and applicable law. If those details are absent, do not pay.
When a binding relationship begins
Reading the website or sending an inquiry does not create a travel booking. A binding relationship begins only through the accepted proposal or contract of the identified entity and any required payment under those terms. The document should state the traveller, scope, dates, price, currency, taxes, payment recipient and acceptance method.
If several providers are involved, the contract or schedule identifies which component each supplies. A brand should not obscure the licensed travel-agency seller, medical institution, insurer, hotel or transport provider. Do not pay a personal account or unrelated entity merely because its name appears in a chat.
Changes, cancellation and force outside provider control
Supplier cut-offs, non-refundable tickets, hotel rules and guide commitments affect cancellation. The proposal should distinguish Kakagogo planning fees, third-party charges and any amount refundable at each stage. Date changes are subject to live availability and may alter price. Silence is not approval of a change.
Weather, public controls, transport disruption, attraction closure, animal care, illness and policy change can require substitution or cancellation. The responsible provider must explain available remedies under the contract and applicable law. A sample itinerary cannot guarantee that a specific view, performance, animal or route remains available.
Traveller information and conduct
The traveller provides accurate names, passport details and needs where legitimately required, keeps documents valid, follows lawful instructions and does not ask a guide to arrange illegal activity. Dietary, mobility and health information should be shared only to the extent needed for safe service and through the stated channel.
Respect for residents, performers, animals, cultural sites and other visitors is part of the service. Harassment, dangerous photography, entry into restricted areas or pressure to reveal protected techniques may cause an activity to stop. This is not a failure to deliver the advertised cultural value.
Complaints and records
Raise a live service issue as soon as practical so the responsible provider has an opportunity to correct it. Keep the proposal, payment record, ticket, message and photograph relevant to the complaint. A complaint should identify the service, date, expected term and requested resolution.
The final contract must provide the entity’s contact and any required complaint channel, governing law or dispute mechanism. This website summary cannot replace mandatory rights or the signed agreement. Where terms conflict, applicable law and the valid final contract determine the result.
Price, currency and payment security
The proposal states currency, due dates, deposit, balance, taxes or service charges and the verified recipient. Exchange-rate or bank fees outside the provider’s control should be distinguished from the quoted service price. A payment-link change, new beneficiary or urgent request must be verified through a known contact before funds move. Kakagogo will not ask for a full card number or one-time password through the public form.
Refund timing may depend on hotels, rail, attractions, payment processors and licensed partners. The contract should explain the process and deductions rather than promise an instant outcome. Chargeback rights, insurance and contractual remedies are separate questions; one does not automatically replace the others.
Safety, insurance and emergency limits
Travellers are encouraged to hold appropriate travel insurance and disclose relevant needs to the correct provider. A guide can communicate, call emergency services and support logistics but does not replace police, immigration, a physician or an insurer. Emergency decisions prioritise life and safety, and the itinerary may be suspended. Costs and claims follow the applicable contract, provider and policy.
Language and version control
A translated summary can help an international traveller, but the final contract should identify which language controls if versions differ. Changes after acceptance must be recorded in writing by an authorised party. A casual chat, automated translation or itinerary draft should not silently replace price, cancellation or provider terms. Keep the accepted version and any amendment together.
These website terms may be updated as the operating entity, service model or law develops. The page date indicates the current public version; an already accepted booking follows its own contract and applicable law. Material changes are not backdated to remove an accrued right or rewrite a completed transaction.
Before paying, the traveller should be able to answer five questions from the written documents alone: which legal entity is contracting, which licensed provider supplies any regulated travel component, exactly what is included, when cancellation charges apply and where an urgent service complaint goes. If any answer exists only in an informal voice message, request a written revision. Commercial clarity is part of safe travel planning and should be resolved while cancellation options remain open.
The useful answer first
Who contracts with the traveller?
The answer depends on the service actually purchased and must be stated in the proposal before payment. Kakagogo may provide cultural planning, practical guidance and coordination. When a package, ticketing, guiding, transport or other component requires licensed travel-agency fulfilment, the proposal must identify that licensed seller, its role and who receives customer funds. A website description alone is not the final contract.
What the final proposal must make visible
Look for the legal entity, contact details, service scope, dates, price, taxes, deposit, balance, exclusions, supplier responsibilities, cancellation, refund path, insurance, complaint handling and applicable terms. Medical procedures remain outside a cultural experience and must be assessed, consented, contracted and charged by a licensed medical institution. Do not pay if a regulated role or responsible entity is hidden behind a brand name.
Before acceptance
- Match every advertised inclusion to the written proposal.
- Identify the licensed seller and payment recipient.
- Read cancellation terms for tickets, guide hours and transport separately.
- Use a traceable payment route and retain the accepted documents.
