Every public visual needs a source and reuse basis. Kakagogo keeps original file pages, creator names and licences. Website presentation may resize or crop images without changing their subject.

Share-alike assets remain subject to their stated licences. Contact the editorial desk if an attribution or licence record needs correction.

How Kakagogo selects and records images

A visual is used only when its source page, creator where stated, licence or permission and relevant restrictions can be recorded. Downloading an image from a search result does not create reuse rights. The asset register connects the public filename with the original source, licence and any required attribution so future redesigns do not separate the image from its legal basis.

Images may be resized, compressed or cropped for responsive presentation. We do not imply that a stock photograph documents a Kakagogo visit, a current supplier or the exact service a guest will receive. Captions and alt text describe what is visible and avoid inventing date, person or event details.

Creative Commons and platform licences

Creative Commons licences differ. Attribution, share-alike and other conditions are followed according to the original file page; a licence label is not shorthand for unrestricted use. Public-domain or CC0 material is still recorded because provenance matters. Platform assets such as Pexels are used under the applicable platform terms and retain creator and source references in the register.

If an image is replaced, the old credit is not automatically relevant to the new file. Each public asset must have its own record. Where a creator or rights holder identifies an error, we investigate the original page and correct, replace or remove the asset as appropriate.

People, privacy and cultural respect

A reusable licence does not remove every ethical question. Close images of worship, medical activity, children or private daily life require care even when legally available. Kakagogo avoids presenting an identifiable person as a customer or service provider without a factual basis and permission where required.

Heritage and performance images should not reveal restricted backstage technique, encourage unsafe crowd behaviour or mislabel contemporary reconstruction as ancient fabric. Visual marketing remains subordinate to accurate cultural explanation.

How to report a credit issue

Send the page URL, image description, claimed creator or rights holder and original source evidence through the site contact. Do not send identity documents through the public form. We will compare the record, preserve relevant evidence and take a proportionate correction action.

This page is a public summary, while the repository asset register contains more detailed filenames and notes. The absence of a visible photographer line beside every responsive crop does not eliminate the source record; the consolidated credits remain available here.

Licence limitations and takedown handling

Licences can be misunderstood, amended on a source page or challenged by a person claiming rights. Kakagogo preserves the source evidence available at acquisition and assesses a credible notice promptly. Temporary removal may be appropriate while facts are checked. A correction can include revised attribution, replacement, removal or additional context depending on the evidence.

The credits page does not grant third parties a new licence to reuse the site’s design, logo, copy or combined presentation. Anyone wishing to reuse an underlying image should follow its original source and licence rather than copying a compressed Kakagogo file. Brand assets and original editorial graphics require separate permission unless expressly stated.

Accessibility is part of visual governance

Alternative text identifies the subject and purpose without keyword stuffing. Decorative images can use empty alt treatment, while informative diagrams need an equivalent explanation. Crops must preserve the relevant landmark or action at mobile size. A beautiful asset that becomes misleading, unreadable or inaccessible in the actual layout is not an acceptable selection.

Current visual coverage and future additions

The present library covers major Chongqing and Chengdu landmarks, food, performance, tea, medicine and panda themes used in the initial site. Future destinations do not inherit permission from a visually similar file. Each new photograph or video requires its own source review, record and responsive-quality check before publication. Embedded third-party media must also be evaluated under the platform and rights holder’s terms.

When original Kakagogo photography is commissioned, the agreement should address ownership or licence, model and property releases where relevant, permitted edits, credit, archive and withdrawal. A photographer’s delivery of a file alone does not answer all of those questions. The same discipline applies to drone work, which also requires compliance with current flight and site restrictions.

Accuracy over visual convenience

An image can be legally reusable and still be wrong for the page. Seasonal photographs should not imply year-round conditions, a historic building should not be captioned as ancient when it is reconstructed, and a medical-cultural image should not suggest that a Kakagogo service includes treatment. Where the visual is illustrative, the surrounding copy makes that role clear.

The useful answer first

How are Kakagogo image rights tracked?

Each public visual is connected to an original source page, creator and reuse basis. Presentation crops and responsive sizes do not create a new licence. Share-alike, attribution and other conditions remain attached to the source work, and a correction request should identify the page, image and rightsholder information that needs review.

Why this page is part of travel-content trust

Attraction photography is not merely decoration: it shapes expectations about crowds, light, season and access. Kakagogo therefore avoids implying that a licensed stock or Commons image proves a current personal inspection. Editorial captions and surrounding copy state the travel lesson while the credit record states who created the image and how it may be reused.
