Kakagogo Editorial Desk Updated August 28, 2026 Sources checked 2026-08-27 How we verify

Tell us enough to design the next useful question—not your entire identity. Dates, group size, interests, pace, food and mobility notes are enough for first contact.

What happens after you send the form

  1. We review whether the request fits Chongqing, Chengdu and our current scope.
  2. We ask only the missing questions that affect route, safety or provider selection.
  3. If a paid plan is appropriate, the proposal identifies the legal contracting entity, licensed travel partner where required, inclusions, exclusions, price and cancellation terms.
  4. You decide before sending sensitive booking data or money.
Privacy and anti-spam

The form uses a honeypot, rate limit and simple maths challenge. Do not include passport scans, payment-card details or medical records. Use the later verified provider channel for information genuinely required to contract.

Direct contact

Private planning

Or begin with the guided form

A few practical details help us prepare a useful first response.

One PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB. It is sent by email and not retained on the website.

Do not upload passport scans, payment-card details or medical records. Attach only non-sensitive trip material.

A useful inquiry is about choices, not documents

Tell us where you expect to enter China, approximate dates, number and ages of travellers, cities, interests, comfortable pace and any dietary or mobility issue that changes the design. You do not need a final flight or hotel to begin. A clear statement such as “first China trip, six nights, one child, history and food, no very late evenings” is more useful than a passport scan.

Do not send payment-card details, account passwords, full medical records or identity copies through the form. If a licensed provider later needs passport data for a real-name ticket or contract, it explains the purpose, secure route and retention. You can decide after seeing who the provider is.

How we decide whether the request fits

Kakagogo currently focuses on Chongqing, Chengdu and carefully connected Southwest China experiences. We assess whether dates, interests, language, mobility and requested services fit current capability. We do not pretend to operate nationwide or accept a medical, immigration or unlicensed travel role merely to keep a lead.

If the request fits, we ask only questions that affect the route or provider. If it does not, we explain the limitation where possible. Submitting the form does not reserve inventory and does not obligate either side to contract.

From concept to written proposal

The first response clarifies major choices. A proposed route then explains pacing, places, cultural experience, arrival systems and alternatives. Before payment, the final document identifies legal contracting entity, licensed seller for regulated services, inclusions, exclusions, price, cancellation, payment route, data needs and emergency contact.

Compare the written scope with your priorities. Ask which hotel, station, ticket class, vehicle hours, guide hours, meal allowance and provider are included. A title such as “private premium tour” is not a substitute for those details.

Anti-spam and response expectations

The honeypot catches automated field filling, the rate limit slows repeated submissions and the maths challenge requires a simple human response. These controls reduce abuse but do not eliminate it. Avoid sending the same form repeatedly; one clear message is easier to review and less likely to trigger a limit.

Submitting a form sends a private WordPress inquiry and a notification to the configured site email. Response timing may vary with time zone and research needed. Urgent medical, police or immigration matters should go directly to the responsible emergency or official service, not wait for a planning response.

Questions that produce a better first proposal

Tell us which memories you want to take home, which activities you dislike and what pace has worked on previous trips. Distinguish essential from optional: pandas may be essential, while hotpot could be replaced for allergy risk; Dazu may matter more than shopping; a free afternoon may be essential for a child. Budget is more useful as a comfortable range with major expectations than as a demand for the cheapest possible private service.

Share flight or rail details only when known, and specify whether international flights, China domestic transport or hotels are already booked. State guide language and whether independent time is welcome. These facts prevent double booking and show where Kakagogo adds value. They do not require a full personal dossier.

Before you accept

Read the route, inclusions, exclusions, provider identity, payment recipient, cancellation schedule and privacy channel. Check that your most important interest appears in actual time allocation rather than only in the title. If a change affects price or service responsibility, request an updated written proposal. Do not rely on a promise that the contract will be clarified after payment.

Example brief for a first Southwest China trip

“Two adults and a 12-year-old, entering visa-free if our passports qualify, arriving Chongqing on 10 October and departing Chengdu six nights later. We want Dazu, city architecture, pandas, tea and one opera, but no shopping stops and no day ending after 9:30 pm. One traveller avoids peanuts and cannot manage long stair sequences. Hotels are not booked; budget is comfortable mid-to-upper range.” This gives enough information to design responsibly without identity documents.

A poor brief is not fatal. We can help separate essential, optional and unsuitable ideas. What matters is honest constraints. Concealing a serious allergy, mobility limit or already-booked non-refundable transfer can make a beautiful route unusable. Sensitive details are requested only where needed and should not be placed in the first public message.

If you are still deciding whether to visit

You may use Plan My Trip to ask a narrow planning question, but the China Ready guides and destination pages are intended to support independent research first. We will not create false urgency by claiming every date is almost sold out. Where real ticket windows or holiday pressure matter, the response identifies the source and the specific decision deadline.

The useful answer first

What information is enough for a useful first trip plan?

Dates or a date range, arrival and departure city, group size, ages, walking comfort, food boundaries, cultural interests and the pace you enjoy are enough. A passport scan, payment-card details and medical records are not needed in the public form. If a contracted booking later requires identity information, the responsible provider must explain why, where it is sent and how it is protected.

What happens before a price is meaningful

We first confirm whether the request fits Chongqing, Chengdu and the current service scope. Then we resolve the decisions that materially change cost: guide language and hours, vehicle, hotel area, tickets, day trips, family equipment and regulated provider. The proposal should distinguish recommendations from included bookings and identify the licensed travel seller where required. Review sample journeys and the service roles before submitting.

A stronger inquiry includes

  • Travel dates, flight or rail endpoints and number of nights.
  • Adults, children, older travellers and realistic mobility limits.
  • Three must-have interests and three things you prefer to avoid.
  • Budget style, hotel already booked or not, and preferred response language.
